Chairman of the main opposition party CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli has said that winning elections by killing people is extremely despicable.
Oli said this during the CPN-UML's trip to Zhulaghat (Chiwabhanjang) on Sunday.
He said this while talking to media persons in Achham during the journey on Sunday.
Speaking to the media, President Oli said, "I want to oppose the way a promising youth like Vinod Shahi was killed on Jestha 17, 2079."
It is a very disgusting thing, killing people, attacking people, the culture of killing, killing a person like yourself and winning an election is a disgusting thing.
We are also saying this above and in the Parliament.
He also declared Vinod Shahi, who was killed in Vinay during the local elections, as a martyr.
He has also expressed anger that the present government is pardoning the murderers, refusing to prosecute, withdrawing the case on the spot, and immediately withdrawing the case if the court sentences them to life imprisonment.
