Fighting continues between Israel and the Palestinian extremist group Hamas. According to the international media, 4,500 people have been killed on both sides in this battle.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army claimed to have attacked a hospital in Gaza late Tuesday night.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that it was not the Israeli army but Hamas that attacked the hospital. Blaming Hamas for the attack, Netanyahu said, "Those who brutally kill our children also kill their children."

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) blamed Islamic Jihad for the attack on the hospital. He said, "Many rockets were fired at Israel, one of them targeted a hospital in Gaza."
