Nepali Artists Await Dashain Festivities Amid Busy Schedules

Actor and writer Khagendra Lamichhane uses Dasai as a meeting place. This time he is celebrating Dasai in Kathmandu due to the screening of the movie 'Pashupati Prasad 2: Bhashme Don'. But in previous years he used to reach Syangja. "For me, Dasai is a festival of meeting friends and relatives. During my childhood, I used to love Dakshina and food. Actress Kiki Adhikari is currently promoting the movie 'Pardeshi 2'. Although she is on a visit to Mofasal, she is preparing to celebrate Dasai in Kathmandu. However, he plans to meet with the audience at the movie theatre as long as he can.
“Since I have worked since college, Dasai is special for me because it is a festival of meeting and spending time with family. For some years, I gave a lot of time to my family due to Corona and various reasons. This time, I will be with the film's family and audience more during Dasai. In addition, it is necessary to get vaccinated with elders", said the actress Adhikari.
Actor Vipin Karki is preparing to go home and celebrate Dasai this time in Sunsari. Although he is busy with the promotions of 'Pashupati Prasad 2: Bhashme Don', which is based on his character 'Bhashme Don', he said that he will reach home.
He said, "We are currently meeting with media personnel. I plan to reach home before Tika and spend a week. Because soon after Purnima I will be busy shooting for the new movie Mahajatra.”
Many memories are associated with his Dasai. He remembers his childhood days of applying Tika on Dasain and using Dakshina to watch movies.
"When I was little, around ten, my leg was slightly amputated below the knee. On Dasain, I rode a bicycle to go to Mamaghar and get South.
After coming home, he had to go to the hospital because of pain in his leg. Dasai has been special for me since my childhood”, said actor Karki.
