Nepali Congress Leader and Member of Parliament Pratima Gautam is of the opinion that there is a long discussion on the government's policies and programs and the budget, but the suggestions given are not addressed and the old

pattern that does not produce results should be revised.

She points out the need for reform in the areas where the country, district, constituencies and people's priorities and needs are not covered by the suggestions given by the representatives.

Netri Gautam says, "This is my first entry into Parliament."

Everyone's presentation seems to be effective on the matter of putting their points.

This time, the work of drafting the bill could not be done much. Some bills "came ready-made, it was seen that they had to go through amendments."

Member of Parliament Gautam, who started her political journey at the Nepal Students' Union, has previous experience of working as the President of the Padmakanya Campus Independent Students' Union and the Union's General Minister.

Gautam is also involved in various social activities and is currently a central member of the Nepali Congress.

She acknowledged the fact that they failed to explain to the voters the main responsibilities of MPs, which are focused on lawmaking.

MP Gautam said, "When the local level had to remain without people's representatives for a long time, we have the experience of the MPs taking all the responsibilities including development, so when we ask for votes, we have an obligation to address the problems raised by the voters, this is also practical."
