The case related to the murder of 6 people, including Navraj Vick, over the issue of inter-caste marriage in Soti village, has been heard continuously in the Supreme Court since Sunday.
Today, government lawyers and legal professionals of the victims will debate.
On Jestha 10, 2077, 21-year-old Navraj Vick of Jajarkot Ranagaon was going to get married to Sushma Malla, when he reached Soti village in Chaurjahari Municipality-8 of Rukum West, the villagers chased him and killed 6 people.
12 people were injured. The bodies were found in the river Bheri.
A parliamentary committee was formed under the leadership of CPN Maoist Center MP Devendra Poudel to investigate the incident.
The committee concluded that the incident was planned.
A case was filed against 34 people of Chaurjahari Municipality-8 Sotigaon for their involvement in the incident related to inter-caste marriage in the District Court Rukum West on charges of killing duty, killing industry and caste untouchability.
23 accused in the incident are in custody for preliminary investigation.
11 people were left in Tarek.
