Nepali Army officer cadet post (assistant soldier) recruitment is open.
Jangi Adda has called for applications for vacant officer posts in the Nepali Army through an open and inclusive competition.
Eligible candidates can fill out the online application form from the Nepali Army website.
You have to download and print the said form, affix a stamp of Rs. 10 and submit the application in person.
The recruitment of 229 people has been opened for the post of authorized cadet in the military general service.
There is an open quota of 122 people in this.
Likewise, a quota of 12 people has been allocated to the descendants of Nepali soldiers who were physically disabled due to physical injury during military training or while performing their duty and died in the line of duty.
In terms of inclusiveness, there is a quota of 17 women, 33 tribals, 27 Madhesi, 15 Dalits and 3 in backward areas.
Candidates applying for the post of authorized cadet must have passed the certificate or equivalent.
For both authorized cadets and graduate authorized cadets, compulsory mathematics subjects should be taken in the SLC or SEE examination.
Also, for officer cadet post, the candidate must be 18 years old and not more than 21 years old and for graduate officer cadet post, they must be 18 years old and not more than 24 years old.
The last date for submission of the application is till 16th of November. It can be submitted from the 17th to the 23rd of November by paying a double fee.
The application fee is Rs 1000. However, if the application is submitted in more than one group, an additional fee of 20 percent will be charged for each group.
The application form can be submitted from any branch office of Nepal Bank within Kathmandu, the Nepal Army said in a notification.
